How to save Chrome tabs with notes
A saved link tells you where to return. A short note tells you why.
Quick option: use Chrome bookmarks
- Open the page and press Ctrl+D (Windows) or ⌘D (Mac) to bookmark it.
- Give the bookmark a meaningful name, such as “Redis cache example for Friday review.”
- Choose a project folder so you can find it later. To save every open tab into one folder, use Ctrl+Shift+D or ⌘Shift+D.
This is a good choice if a descriptive title is enough. Chrome bookmarks do not provide Tabrevo's per-page note and reminder workflow.
When Tabrevo is available
- Open the Tabrevo Chrome side panel while viewing the page you want to keep.
- Save the page and write one action-oriented note: what you found, what to check, or why you may need it again.
- Add a collection or tag if it belongs to a project. Set a reminder only if there is a real time to follow up.
- Confirm the page appears in your saved library before closing its tab.
Example note: “Compare the Redis invalidation example at 14:20 with our caching design before Friday.” Specific notes are easier to act on than “read later.”
Tabrevo saves locally by default. Account sync is optional; read the privacy policy before enabling it. The Chrome Web Store launch is pending, so the project page is the current entry point.
