How to set a reminder for a webpage
A reminder works best when it includes the link and the action you plan to take.
Without an extension
- Copy the page URL.
- Create a calendar event or task for the time you need to return.
- Paste the URL into its description and add a specific action, such as “Check application deadline.”
- Enable an alert in your calendar and check that notifications are allowed on your device.
This works well for one-off follow-ups. It can become hard to organize when you are tracking many pages across projects.
With Tabrevo when the extension is available
- Save the webpage in the Chrome side panel.
- Add a note describing the next step, then set the date and time to revisit it.
- Choose Chrome notifications. If you enable the optional in-page card and grant site access, Tabrevo can also show a due-page card on supported sites.
- If useful, export the reminder as an
.icsfile or choose the optional Google Calendar integration.
Tip: “Apply to this role by Thursday 5 pm” is more useful than “look at this again.” If a reminder is no longer useful, reschedule or archive it rather than repeatedly snoozing it.
Reminder delivery depends on Chrome and device notification settings. The Chrome Web Store launch is pending; you can currently review the Tabrevo project.
